Special thanks must go to Tricia Roe for the wharf activity images and Jeremy Taylor for the underwater images. Roe, Philip Mc Gowen and Allan Kessler from Sydney, brought 85-year-old+ antique diving helmets manufactured by C. E Heinke, and Robison Bros. Stephen Simmons and Christopher Deane from SA, brought along vintage helmets from Siebe Gorman and Miller Dunn and the author christened his recently restored 155-year-old helmet by Melbourne manufacturer Henry Dykes of Flinders Street. This year, four students (Mark Tozer, Brendan Trembath, Kathryn Savage & Jack Cavazzini) completed the NAUI Standard Dress Course and joined in the fun. The weekend could not proceed without a large dedicated support team of diving tenders and safety divers. Safety divers Jeremy Taylor, Andrew Downard and Paul Barta looked after helmet divers in the water, while air-lines and air supply was attended to by teams on the wharf. We probably should have been arrested for having too much fun!
