DIVE LOG Australasia

Anemone fish snuggle in close to their host anemone at night

vibrant, filled with life where the denizens are unafraid and relaxed. That is the nature of the house reef there and it is a real treasure and a credit to the resort. The other feature of the house reef is that it is a wall dive with currents. When the current is strongish from the west, you are dropped off in a dingy a few hundred metres up current and drift back to shore. I managed to do one drift dive and two dives from the wharf. One

wharf dive went west and the other went east. Each dive was unique and had different marine life all with the same degree of protection. The end result is great diving both by day and by night at Wakatobi’s house reef. For more information on Wakatobi diving contact www.wakatobi.com
