Some turtles can become friendly and unafraid of divers.

Moray eels swim straight past sleeping parrotfish completely oblivious to a potential meal when they are inside their slimey sleeping bag. What a brilliant survival strategy by parrotfish! After a few moments to come back down to earth and seeing a small prawn and a few smallish groper, I spotted a sleepy juvenile Bump Headed parrotfish at about 60 cms long. As soon as I lit it up, it began to move to a safer spot. I raced off a couple of photos. To

my absolute delight, I managed to capture this very rare moment in my camera. It was another moment of magic! Yoo Hoo! The secret to getting these sorts of photos is to pre set your camera to the settings that are most likely to work as you swim around. That is, set ISO, f Stops and aperture to the correct settings for the most common night subjects. This small act of common sense often leads to a better chance of a successful photo from an
