Getting there Only about 1.5h from Cairns, Port Moresby is very easy to get to on one of the daily flights. Other options from Australia are Brisbane and Sydney with flights on selected days of the week. It’s worth noting that PNGs national airline, Air Niugini, offers an additional 15kg of dive gear free of charge, so this would be my go-to airline for international flights. Flights to Tufi itself are offered by Tropic Air and can be booked through the resort and are leaving from and to Port Moresby on Friday afternoons and Monday mornings.
