BE WARY of wobbies. They are masters of territorial dominance and will always let you know that they are the boss. Some divers regards them fondly as pets, myself included. Notice how this extremely experienced diver has a barrier between himself and the wobby at 43 metres deep on the wreck of the Tuggerah. He is giving

her a gentle stroke of affection same as you might pat your dog. Some wobbies love it! However, they are tolerant to a degree and will allow a photographer to get a couple of shots but just don’t get too close otherwise, whooska! (See below on p83). By the way, the diver survived, stirred but not shaken.
