I mostly dive with other U/W photographers. If I see a Wobbegong snoozing, I always get into the optimum position having sunlight coming into the scene, clear backgrounds and the best composition. I take a few shots and invite my buddy to swap sides so he can take advantage of the better angles. We share the subject and pose for each other. Luckily, neither of us are afraid of Wobbegongs and are happy to inch that little bit closer to create more drama. Story Telling aspect If you want to tell a story with your photos, the three shot principle applies. Take a wide angle panorama typ photo of the “Big Scene” Next get closer to highlight the intended subject. Finally, take a closer detail photo.
