Summary Be comfortable, look natural. Develop perfect buoyancy. Use your eyes to observe the highlight. Shine torch at subject. Keep your hands busy but out of the way. Limit bubbles. Swim streamlined, think like a dolphin. Watch the photographer for ongoing instruction such as move closer. Most of all, enjoy yourself. When you see a good diver photo, the diver will be behaving naturally, be comfortable, be interested in the event, be streamlined and look intelligent. They convey the pleasure and serenity of being underwater. The viewer will try to share what the model is enjoying and hopefully go wow and imagine themselves in the scene!
