This is considered to be a good idea because you can adjust the background light in Photoshop to a degree. It is easier than manipulating the over exposed faces. That would make the overall ohoto darker.

Self Analysis Self ANALYSIS is a powerful tool for improving. I, for one, find it difficult to understand people who take the same lousy quality photographs from year to year with no thought of improving. For me, the challenge is to strive for excellence and to try to improve as much as possible.
