Gear washing and drying facilities were rather primitive in comparison with just one relatively small tub to soak/rinse cameras and another for regs, etc. It is a 150 m downhill/uphill walk to the boat jetty if you do not score a lift. While camera gear naturally needed to be returned to your room after diving, and was often transferred to the resort via vehicle, scuba gear was left on the vessel overnight. This could be a concern for anyone who prefers to rinse their gear every day. There is a small hire section, so if you plan to hire anything, you should check availability beforehand. The air filling station was impressive and apart from having to replace a tank valve O-ring, we found cylinder filling and management very reliable. The three purpose-built dive vessels were fast, comfortable, and travelled to the dive sites in less than 30 minutes. They had great skippers/crews/guides (George, Lui, Tui & Mike) who were always smiling and laughing. We loved the briefings on each dive site by our chief guide Lui which always started with an enthusiastic: “Bula once again, this is one of our best dive sites”. We had a 15-dive package.
